Crossing all the hurdles, Arjun-Mammootty starrer ‘Vande Matharam’ will finally hit the screens this Friday (September 17), says its producer Henry of Pankaj Productions. Distribution rights of the film for Chennai area have been acquired by Abirami Mega Mall.

“We were unable to release the movie last week due to some unavoidable reasons. However, we are gearing up to release ‘Vande Matharam’ this Friday”, he says, adding: “It is a patriotic film with a powerful theme”.

Directed by Aravind T, ‘Vande Matharam’ has Sneha as heroine. “Mammootty and Arjun play police officers who bump off evil elements who plan to destroy the resources of our motherland”, sources say.

“D Imman’s music is one of the highlights of the film”, they say and add: “The two veteran actors (Arjun and Mammootty) had strived hard to bring out perfection on screen, impressed by the script”.
